Mid Century Italian Modern Vittorio Dassi Rosewood Sideboard Credenza, 1950s

This stunning vintage mid century Italian modern credenza sideboard was designed by Vittorio Dassi and made in Italy circa 1950. The cabinet is exceptionally crafted from rosewood with a deep reddish-brown tone and an inlaid herringbone chevron pattern across the front. The gorgeous Art Deco influenced, sculptural design features a curved floating hutch over an organic-shaped, brass accented, raised pedestal base. The extra wide cabinet has five locking doors with two central doors opening on a storage compartment with two spacious dovetailed drawers and two small side shelves. Two side doors on the right and a single door on the left each open on a large storage compartment with one adjustable and removable shelf. Interiors are finished in a beautiful contrasting light wood tone. All four original cabinet door keys are present and working and all keys are interchangeable. A highly versatile piece, perfect for home or office; use as a credenza, dining room sideboard, media console, bar cabinet, or dresser.

CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Minor surface scratches to top. Clean interiors.
